This only works for RFID tags/readers that do not have anti collision properties. However this test will fail if a RFID system employs anti collision. Most newer more complex RFID systems employ anti collision.

@ Logistix11111: that’s the main problem indeed. Here in the Netherlands, with our PT-chipcard system (public transport paying card, the readers at train and metrostations can easily be covered with a sticker with an antenna ‘built in’

It’s just a matter of time I think before some-one uses a cellphone to store all the card-data from the cards that are presented to the reader (and, while the user won’t know) the ‘crmininal’ reader.

Let your avacodo ripen then maybe it will. When they are hard they aren’t ready yet.

  5. logistix11111 says:

Now lets take it one step further and build a really small reader to read the signal. Or just leave your laptop with the reader in a book bag on the floor below it to capture the user’s fobs.

  6. TuneMaestro says:

In theory, RFID Tag + RFID Reader = Open Door

Now, the service is the opening of the door.

After this method is used, the service is DENIED. It IS a denial of service attack, since the service is denied.

Good example of jamming, but spoofing would make trackers worthless….check out my channel for detection techniques…
